Fears over state curbs upon live shows lead to hunger strike, busts and street standoff with authorities

“ I’ ve been under surveillance with the police and state security for 2 days now, ” said Esteban Rodrí guez, 32, who details himself as a social media influencer. “ They don’ t let me depart my house. ”
